I booked a taxi online from Birmingham Airport to Leicester on 19th November. I booked more than 12 hours ago, but still called them to confirm the booking. My flight was supposed to land at 18:45, but it landed at 18:30. In the online request I asked them about 1.5 hours additional time after flight arrival.
At 19:45 I called the taxi company to ask about how long it will take for them to arrive. They said they called me at 18:30 ( just when the flight landed) and they returned back as the phone was switched off.
What kind service this is!!!! Should have some common sense!!! How they expect me to put my sim and turn on my phone just when the flight landed. And don’t understand why the driver returned back after giving one phonecall. Though I am not sure whether its true or not as I have not received any phonecall or missed call alert or any voicemail. Also I have specifically asked them about additional 90 minutes after arrival when I made the booking but looks they don’t bother about these things. Anyway they send me another taxi when reached Birmingham Airport 20:50. Such a terrible experience. Not going to book any future airport transfer with A&B Cabs.
